Newick Cricket Club is a friendly and ambitious Sussex village club with a thriving junior section. New juniors (8 and upwards) and adult players (of all standards) are welcome and can participate fully in training sessions and matches.
Newick CC boasts a lovely ground and excellent facilities: our grounds man prides himself on consistently excellent wickets and we have a welcoming pavilion with a bar.
There are several ECB-trained coaches among our club members and we have the latest bowling machine for practice use. Our 3 senior teams play Saturday league cricket in the East Sussex League (Divisions 2, 3 and 11). We put out Sunday and mid-week teams, playing friendly cricket of all standards. The Junior section is extremely successful with a large proportion graduating to one of our senior league teams.
For adult members (age 16 and upwards) please contact Cameron Jones (cjones@wellssenior.co.uk)
PARENTS/JUNIORS - please contact Howard Ramsey: bullinn@tiscali.co.uk, 01825 722410, 07850989924. Our main training sessions are on Sunday mornings from 10am to 12 noon.
All newcomers are most welcome to turn up at nets or on match days.
Overseas Players: we welcome overseas players, but we are an amateur club and do not pay anyone to play cricket for us.

A winning start to the competitive season for Newick CC without a ball being bowled.........the mere thought of the captains pace bowling and the vice captains bludgeoning blade ha

The ECB is aware that The Community Cricket Trust (CCT), Institute of Cricket Umpires and Scorers (ICUS) and On-Side Cricket Limited (OSCL) have approached a number of cricket clubs offering advice an
